The brain is a complex organ and once we start to learn about how it works, then we can start to make positive change and understand ourselves and others around us.
In your first session this will be the chance for me to find out a few basic details and then assess your mental health and to what treatment I feel will be best suited for you and your situation that you bring to therapy; however this may change as therapy progresses.
It is also a chance for you to see if you feel I am right counsellor for you.
(Sessions are 50 minutes of consultation time plus we allow 10 minutes for preparation and notes, totalling 60 minutes).
Carlie works through an integrative therapy approach. This means using many therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) Humanistic and Transactional Analysis to help with your situation and help psycho educate to you to learn more about yourself and gain insight into what maybe keeping your problem going.
